Glenmuir launch new luxury sweater
For many golfers, playing in too many layers of clothing can feel a little restrictive on the golf course.
Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands, has a simple solution – its acclaimed lined performance sweaters – and the Scotland-based company has introduced three new models to its popular Autumn/Winter ’08 range.
The men’s Birkdale and Carnbee and ladies’ Alice sweaters are manufactured from a machine washable, luxury merino and acrylic wool blend, which offers superb warmth and protection.
By adding a hard-wearing, breathable and quick-drying water, oil and soil repellent Nano-Technology Bionic Finish® and introducing a windproof stretch lining with Storm Bloc ® features, the end result is an outstanding product that feels and plays like a sweater – but acts like a wind shirt.
All three sweaters feature the stretchable lining to ensure the best possible swing flexibility as well as double cuffs and welt for comfort.
The zip-neck Birkdale is available at a retail price of £89.50 and the crewneck Carnbee at a suggested retail price of £73.50. Both sweaters feature the renowned Glenmuir 1891 embroidery on the right sleeve and come in a range of sizes. The zip-neck Alice comes for a suggested retail price of £84.
Andy Bough, Glenmuir Marketing Director, commented, “There are days – particularly in late Autumn and early Spring - when golfers want extra protection from damp, drizzle and cold winds without having to add an extra layer of clothing. And this is where our luxury lined sweaters really come into their own.”
