Canali chosen to supply formal wear to Team Europe

Italian tailoring experts Canali have been selected to provide the European Ryder Cup Team and Official Party’s formal wear at this years competition at the Valhalla Golf Club, Kentucky.

Canali supplied the formal wear in 2006 for Ian Woosnam’s winning team and the Milan based company have also secured the contract for the The 2010 Ryder Cup which will be staged at The Celtic Manor Resort, South Wales.

In their role as a Preferred Supplier to the European Team, Canali will supply all formal wear during the event, including outfits for the Gala Dinner, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and the attire for the Team and Official Party to travel to and from The Ryder Cup.

Canali, whose clothing is sold in over 1000 selected stores in 80 countries worldwide, will also supply the trousers for The European Team to wear on the course in the days of competition itself, and will seek to develop a bespoke range of goods to commemorate their involvement in The 2010 Ryder Cup.
