Ballesteros released from intensive care
Seve Ballesteros has left the intensive care unit where he has been receiving treatment since having surgery on a brain tumour.
The 51-year-old Spanish golfing legend was admitted to hospital after loosing consciousness at Madrid’s international airport on October the 6th.
Ballestero was diagnosed with a brain tumour and has undergone surgery three times.
Madrid’s La Paz Hospital told the press that, “Severiano Ballesteros has left the intensive care unit and has now changed ward. He is continuing his rehabilitation and is receiving restricted visits.”
The former Ryder Cup captain retired from golf last year after a glittering career that included winning the Open three times and the Masters twice.
