Golf update
Another major championship came and went in April and, again, no British winner. Indeed it’s now almost nine years since Paul Lawrie held aloft the Claret Jug at Carnoustie and though in the meantime our leading pros have flown the flag with pride at Ryder Cups and on the regular tours, the game’s four most prestigious prizes remain elusive.
